About the Owners

When two powerhouses in the home building industry join forces, you have the premier home building company in the area. Wren Homes is the collaboration of Jim Wright (former owner of Stoneridge Homes and Alabama Heritage Homes) and Jeff Enfinger (Enfinger Development). Jim and Jeff have been a part of this area helping it grow for decades and the future looks even brighter with these two seasoned home building veterans at the helm of Wren Homes.

Jeff Enfinger

Jeff Enfinger, the founder of Enfinger Development, has more than 30 years of experience in residential development. Prior to his developing of land, he also built homes. He has over 10 years of home building experience. He has helped develop more than 5,000 home sites in North Alabama. He and his family have donated, planned, and developed two of the largest parks in Huntsville. One is 500 acres of playground, trails, and parks surrounding the Flint River called Hayes Nature Preserve. The other is coming soon and will be Hayes Farm in south Huntsville. Enfinger’s traditional neighborhood designs focus on balance and wellness. Walking trails, parks, lakes, and fitness areas are an integral part of his communities. Homeowners are encouraged to gather with neighbors at the club houses or common areas in each community. Enfinger has always committed to being a steward of the environment and continues by balancing land use with preservation as each new community is introduced.

Jim Wright

Jim Wright, a Vietnam veteran, began building homes during his time as an Air Force officer to supplement his income as a military father of two boys.  He built homes in Nebraska and Texas and upon leaving the military, Wright worked for a top 25 national builder in Houston, Texas. This led to a market leader position in Huntsville, which in turn led to creation of his first successful home building company, Alabama Heritage Homes with partner Collins Pearson.  In 2007, he formed Wright Homes and Stoneridge Homes.  As the sole owner of both, he quickly became the top local homebuilder in the area, known for his quality, attention to detail, and his genuine concern for his clients’ needs.  He sold Stoneridge Homes in 2017. However, his love for homebuilding and serving the area’s homebuyer’s needs could not keep him away, therefore leading to formation of his latest venture with partner, Jeff Enfinger – WREN.  Let the tradition continue with two of the area’s greatest real estate professionals.
